Tony, I really appreciate the reference, and I'll review it. I have one ribbon bar from WW1, and it has an Iron Cross, a service medal and some type of war service cross, so I can see something like that being attached on a tunic like this, especially like you mention in the inter-war period.

Tony, this is very interesting. Something I'm learning as I research this era's uniforms more is that even though there was standardization, there was still very much, individualized accoutrements when it came to some uniform items.

Did this original chinstrap sell yet?

This one had no liner or wappen. I have, however, purchased a couple of JzP wappen, so I have a few to choose from. I will need to move the mounting posts so they will fit in the slits on the front of the helmet(s). I'll also need the chinscales and kokarden.

This is a really nice Kurassier, and one that is not often seen. It deserves a place of honor in your collection, on display.
