Finished: Completed yesterday. Now on to the next project sent by this member....a Garde Officer. I would also appreciate any comments about the chin scale fasteners. Has any member seen this type before? PS: The insect damage can not be seen with the visor back in place.

There is also a device called a "solder sucker" which literally sucks heated liquid solder up into its tube when triggered....Canadian Tire Pete

I would not buy it….the gauge of wire used for the loops is not correct as are the loops themselves . The chemical patina on the outside surface of the eagle is also typical of fakes. It produces this antique, aged look.
