Hi,
JR167 ist not matching, cause its IIIB was in the other Mühlhausen, the one in Thüringen (not Mühlhausen in Elsass). I and IIB were in Kassel.
But JR142 (Stab, I and IIIB) were in Mühlhausen in Elsass. IIB was in Müllheim in Baden (from 1908 on).

Not a lot of guys with this name in the Verlustlisten, only 7. And 6 of them came from Hessen, one from Württemberg.
Yes, you won´t track this guy in the VL because as you know, the Landsturm units were only involved far behind the front line, to guard the railway knots and prison camps.

What a curious behavior!
One enters this forum, asks for an opinion, several erudite collectors give it, the gentleman disagrees and leaves as quickly as he came. So why ask? Hoping for confirmation of what he believes?
Good luck 😁
Very hard to find....
This one is the same officer pattern, same size, but with bigger central hole for the M91 side post. It is originally placed on a named RJR 76 EM M95 helmet worn by a Vizefeldwebel with the function of an Offizierstellvertreter.
