Age of Kings

I agree with all here, everybody knows at what time the updates come, who comes first gets the nice stuff. I also look every friday, but usually I am late to the party too.
That's no problem for me though, but every helmet I see that sells fast, is worth every penny. Keep up the good work Randy and Remy, you are respected dealers, so no complaints from me.
Best regards, Coert.

Hello to all,

I only have bought a single time a helmet from AOK (a very mint EM FAR 9 helmet, which is very local for me). This was shortly and I was lucky to successfully conclude the transaction with Remy because the helmet was in France and was offered for a long time on the AOK homepage, curiously without any collectors interest for it (maybe the price?). This transaction was on top (y) Thank you Remy!
But for me, a french collector living in Germany, (old Europe 😊 ) it is absolutely impossible to be able to compete financially when a helmet is located in the US, because of the customs duties that have then to be paid in Germany, which are very high. So when a helmet that I might like comes up on AOK, I can't quickly press the buy button until I know where the item is located, because blocking the item and then finding out that it's not in France isn't very fair either.
As a result, I waste time and miss out some good helmets...
Philippe
Remy and I travel to Europe and the USA several times a year. On more than one occasion we have carried helmets with us for our customers.

There is no bidding
and there is no 25 % commission
for buyers in the USA there is no exchange rate to pay
with 25 % commission and 17 % Exchange rate that adds 42 % to purchases in Europe at auction
I love the A o K system!
Thank you A o K
Steve

Hey Guys! All of you know that Remy and I are collectors first and are an active part of the collector club. We have tried to make the Age of Kings sales field level for everyone. We know some collectors have been angry about how quick our items sell. We do not know how to solve the problem. We post new items every Friday at the same time of day. We have found that many collectors have advanced programs that jump to the site the instant it comes up. We are open to recommendations or comments, please contact me on this link or send me a private message or to my email address at: [email protected].
Hey Randy. Long time no see. I hope this finds you well. I was surprised to read from you that some have been upset because your items sell very fast. Why being upset, why such a reaction??
Congratulations on your commercial success.
Bruno

Human nature - we all want these great helmets and when you miss one it is of course upsetting - but not Randy's fault as everyone says. One of the best dealers out there for sure!

Hello Randy, I'm looking forward to meeting you at the Belgian fair. Even though I don't speak English or French, I'd still like to say hello and see what you have for sale. Maybe you have something I like. Otherwise, I'm fine with what you're doing. See you later at the fair.

I agree!
Lets keep in mind it is a hobby, first!

The opposite of collecting anything is having a large bank account.

I'm guessing your collecting cash or maybe gold coins.
I think that today people are better off with gold because it is rising like nothing else. A month ago gold price was 115,052.85 US dollars, now 129,230.00 US dollars, a nice increase.
