Allied Trench Watch

Here is a British "Trench Watch" from 1917 by JW Benson with a Swiss movement cased in silver I recently got. The hands still have a slight glow and the crystal cover is in great shape. A lot of makers for the Allies used a similar face design at the time.

There are also pocket watch wrist holders that mimic a regular wrist watch, but I do not have one.

I am not a watch enthusiast, but these small articles add so much to the peripheries. The look is quite iconic for the times.

Very nice! I also have 2 trench watches here in my collection, both are in full working order too.
One is German, with a DH marking on the back (Deutches Heer), the other one is US made, with a protective metal cover on the front, with several round holes in it, so you can still see the time. The first one is probably WW2, the other one is WW1.

Id like to see those if you wouldn't mind. Suprised they work, are they a Frankenwatch?
