I just bought this one. I already have the Hanseatenkreuz collection, all 3 of them, but this one showed up for sale at a very low price.
No emaille damage, a nice ribbon on it, and so I could not resist it.

Very nice ! A form of these were carried by the regiment flags along with their Parade Banners ,

Very nice. I have the post war issue. This one is the war time issue as shown by the red claws.
If you are interested in selling it I'd be a buyer.

I have a Military magazine printed in Germany
I am pretty sure that the Bremen flags are all accounted for
Yes , the Parade Banner for Bremen would be "the Grand Slam "
but I don't think possible

You need to train your cats to dust your case with their paws. Make it a game! Oh wait, no, then they they would take all the medals out and scatter them around the house. 🫣

Training my cats will never work. These guy's just go their own way. No problem for me though, I just love cats, and they know it, the buggers.. ;)

The Lübeck hanseaten kreuz with the long ribbon is my latest addition by the way, the other Lübeck has been in my collection for a very long time.
When I saw my latest addition for sale here in the Netherlands, I just couldn't resist it. I know these are the rarer ones, and the price was very right. In fact, it was a bargain. All original, no enamel damage, a long original ribbon, for only 90€ it came my way. A bargain!
The guy selling it had more Hanseatenkreuzes for sale, Hamburg and Bremen, but all had enamel damage, so I passed on those.

The other one, which I bought earlier, is also a nice one, but when I saw this one for sale, I just couldn't resist it.
It just had to come home to me. Besides that, I also bought another Wound badge in gold, also seen in the picture, so now I have also 2 of those..

I know, I have 3 of those cases, but all are full. One with all my spangen, the other with all the singels, and another one filled with British, Belgium and French medals. Just as I like my hauben, I also like to collect medals, it is getting out of hand now.
But hey, I like to collect. A better hobby than getting drunk in a pub you know.

Well John, yesterday 2 more showcases came in here, today I reorganised my medal collection. So I went from 2, to 4 showcases now.
I had to, it was getting way too full in the 2 I had, so now I have 4 of them. Pictures will follow tomorrow.
ps I bought a WW1 marine verwundeten abzeichen in gold, which came with a wound badge in black, the regular one, I already have that one too, but they weren't sold apart.
