Completed my cavalry officers display courtesy of AOK for the cartridge box and Dan Griffin for majors epaulettes. Now all on display in my cabinet.

Cheers Tony

Great display, love that M15 Officer helmet.

James
Cheers James.... I am going to do a separate post on the M15 helmet because it may not actually be one..... may be a variant, with a screw attachment for the spike, on the standard 1886 Bavarian officers helmet all be it with the 1914 reduced coat of arms.

It would be interesting to get opinions on it because the spike attachment is screw on not bayonet fitting and there are not m91 lugs for attachment of a leather chinstrap either.....

Alternatively it may even be a variant on the M15 picklehaube 1

cheers

Looks like you need a taller cabinet! Very nice to see the stuff in the original cartons. Congratulations!
