Busbies/Pelzmützen

When I started this hobby, my aim was to preserve history.

We all guard our collection well so as not to allow any fakes that flow into our collection.

I do have to say that it is amazing skill but my first reaction was - if this item flow into the market as original then our line of defence is down.

I admire great restoration skill but to go to the extent of making it with the unit stamping and unarguably with a good set of skills, I couldn't agree with it.

Just my two cents worth

I understand you perfectly. It's a shame when you buy an expensive thing in your collection, and this is a fake, even a very high-quality one. I made this hussar hat not for sale, but only for myself. Therefore, I shared my work. Thank you all for the good reviews of my work, I am very pleased

I meant the frame, the rings.
This is made of wicker. I doubt you can do this with bamboo...
I can be wrong of course.

How is the fur placed? What direction is the hair pointing?

Thank you very much. I know that the fur is sewn horizontally in a counterclockwise direction. Perhaps you have the original hat? I am interested in some of the measurements. I tried bending the bamboo, but I rushed it and it broke. I will try again.
