Correct Gino, people back then were happy with what they had, nowaday's everybody is spoilt by all on e-bay, loads of commercials and so on.
If you don't follow those things, people seem to think they are not part of society anymore. They seem to think they have to follow the herd, like cows going to the slaughter. I, and many of other folks do not comply with this. I just do what I feel is good for myself, and my 4 cats.
I can afford a much larger car than the one I have now, but why should I? Just because my neighbours and other folks have? Nope, I am not going that route. I grew up in a time when people just did what they could afford, and were happy doing so, like my parents did.
And rightly so.
