Hi!
I just inherited a pickel haube. Could someone help me to identify it and tell me if it is fake or real?

First of all welcome! Have you thought about googling WW1 German soldiers or Pickelhaube or buying a book about WW1, perhaps visit a library or museum. Its some sort of theatrical helmet nothing to do with WW1 Germans. Rob

Hi, going to be a little humorous here. It is indeed a real helmet, just not an Imperial German Pickelhaube. As 'Bobted' said, welcome! Also, if it fits, it's a great piece for carnival or costume parties. You can try to sell it on eBay, as a theatrical helmet, but I think it would be more fun to figure out which production it was made for. It's not a cheap stage piece, but professionally done. IMHO.
Cheers!
Ron

Thanks for your comments. As I found nothing similar on the internet I thought coming here could give me some answers.
