Not sure what it is.
It was sold in the auction room I attended too, for more then 50 years now, back in Antwerp.
So I bought it over the phone with only thise pictures to judge.
It looks like it is embroid but on the other hand, left under the frame there seems to be like a reinforcement strap as one can see on flags in general...
It is 70 by 52 cm big.
And no futher details...
It will take a while to get it, so I am curious to hear what anyone might think it is....
