Garde helmet spacing

Just took out a garde helmet and noted that the spacing is not far enuf.

No extra holes on the helmet and the posts on the wappan do not seem to have being moved.

I always think that garde helmet has posts that are further apart than what I have on hand.

What do u guys think?

The distance between the screws and the arches of the Garde-Adlzr should be around 10 cm. Only the new Lien-Grenadier M97 eagle will have about 8cn to replace the eagle of the 12 "old regiments" with 5 Vaterland folds, headband and FWR monogram. In later production runs, these eagles, with their gliding wings, will also be spaced 10cm apart.

Like Amy, show the back of this Garde-Adler and measure the distance between the 2 bindings. Thank you,

Steve I have 2 garde helmets. I've brass one silver. Both have the same spacing.

No your eyes didn't play trick on you. You are not having cataract as well lol

Here's an M97 Grenadier eagle at 10cm (hoop on the sword and scepter, or slightly towards the wingtips) and an M97 Grenadier eagle at 8cm (hoop inside the sword and scepter, towards the neck). These are the versions intended to replace the old FWR eagle known as “des vieux régiments N°1 à 12. Grenadier Adler 10cm.jpgGrenadier 8cm.jpg
Garde spacing
Hello Amy,
First Gardist, which I can see at 8cm, but there's nothing to complain about: the fixings and holes are coherent and original.
