Offered for sale is a nice Hessian Regimental History of the 115th Infantry Regiment:
"Das Leibgarde Infantrie Regiment im Weltkriege 1914-1918".

Published in 1921, in Stuttgart.

276 pages, Hard Cover with several b&w photo illustrations. Includes the 2-large fold out maps inside the back cover.

Binding is still solid. But the fabric taping between the front and back covers has been removed at some point of time in the past, and there is some separation between the covers and the bound pages. Otherwise the book is in sound condition. I simply want to mention this for accuracy.

Price: $55.00 or "Best Offer".

Payment via PayPal is o.k. I prefer "friends & family" if possible.

Postage in USA is $6.00 via Media Mail w/Tracking.

Thanks for sharing . I already have this regiment but I am still looking for Infantry regiments Nr. 134, 137, 140,146, 156 and 166.
Also calvary regiments : Dragoon Nr. 12 , the ever elusive Husaren Regiment Nr. 4. and Bavarian Chevaulegers Regiment Nr. 5.

Thanks very much, I appreciate it! I will take it to the post office tomorrow in order for them to give me an accurate price for mailing this to the Netherlands. Hopefully it won't cost too much to mail it to you.

I visited the local Post Office and the least expensive price to mail this book to the Netherlands is $51.85. This would be using 1st Class International Mail Package. I simply have the book wrapped in an old cardboard book mailer I had sitting here at home. There is not a less expensive way to mail this to Europe by using the postal service. In the old days of the early 2000's, I would have suggested mailing this via "surface mail" which would have took about 30 days to arrive. But that option has long ago disappeared.

Some years ago I traded a Feldgrau uniform of F R 40 to a collector
in the Netherlands .I have Regiment history of Fusilier Regt 40
He wanted to buy it
I checked every way possible to send to him
the shipping cost was more than my asking price for the book
I still have the book

Steve, that is exactly why I chickened out on this book. The cost of shipping it to me was more than the cost of the book itself, besides, if it would arrive here, I still had to pay customs charges.. On top of it all..
A pity, because I really liked to add it to my regimental history books I have.
