Note the B.A. VII, instead of XVIII in 1911 for the Nassau.

Thanks very much to you all for the appreciation. Clovis raised a very good point regarding the BA oddity. At that time BA XVIII (Nassau) did not have a Bekleidungsamt, and used BAVII instead. The apparent discrepancy is, therefore, totally legit.

Excellent. The trace of the letter in the leather gives no doubt of the authenticity ! All helmets from JR 88 have not the regiment mark.
