It came out well for such a repair technology. It could have been done better, but I know that you do not have such equipment.
Nevertheless, I congratulate you on your enthusiasm in the repair and the end result.
I use in repairs the technology of that period, which unfortunately is very time-consuming. You have to work out everything experimentally. For example, the primer under the varnish - which was used since the 14th century by painters.
