Jäger Tschako help identifying

Hi folks,

I recently purchased a Jager shako that I plan to restore however I'm confused as to which model it is and its wappen.

The Lack of side vents, hand stitching, brass fittings, old Round wappen holes and vent hole behind the Feldzeichen suggest a earlier model.

Where as the cockade fittings and later slit wappen holes suggest a later model.

Is this one of jager shakos that was refurbished and issued to the Landsturm at the outbreak of WW1 as mentioned at the bottom of this article?

as far as i can see this schould be a model 1892 private purchas for under officer
this can be seen at the absence of air vents
the tschako can either be for telegraffen 1
airschip1 and 2
and airmen 1and 4
so in other words this one schould baire a garde sterne if i am corect
feel free to correct me gents

It is a Model 1860 with M91 chin strap posts. That would indicate it was perhaps refurbished and issued to the Landsturm at the outbreak of WW1.

Don't forget that guard Jager battlaion and guard Shutzen battalion and I think also guard Train wore shakos with the guard star.
