Some impressions of the old barracks of Königlich Sächsisches Karabinier-Regiment (2. Schweres Regiment) in Borna near Leipzig. Today it is used by the Landratsamt.

The frontispice is indeed amazing, and a reminder that the KR helmet bore a Haarbusch. Thank you for the photo (was it taken in November?..).

Great photos! When my Father and I travel to Germany we like to visit the old barracks and kasernes too. A lot of them are still in active use!
