M95 Prussian Res. Infanterie Officer

It's been a while since I've posted a pickelhaube, but here's another one. Nothing fancy, but nevertheless one that I like. It's a model 95 for a Reserve Infanterie Officer with a black Haarbusch.
The helmet plate is without the bandeau, because the text is on the reserve cross, as it's supposed to be. It's made by the well known manufacturer Awes Marke and has size 57.

Nice little helmet. Is the trichter original to the helmet? There were not a lot of regimens that were authorized them. :?:

Black BuffelHaarbusch (Officers) with smooth brass Trichter

-Infanterie Regt Nr 25 (1.Rheinisches)
-Füsilier Regt Nr 80 (Kurhessisches)
-Füsilier Regt Nr 86 (Schleswig-Holsteinisches)

Three Regiments on a total of:
-112 Infanterie Regimenter
-8 Füsilier Regimenter
with this Wappen/Helmet plate

Could you explain this please? "Three Regiments on a total of.. with this Wappen/Helmet plate"

Reserve officers of all line infantry regiments could have worn this helmet plate. That must be over 100+? Parade plume yes, but not the helmet plate. I love your photogrphy and quality of collection Adler.

ONLY three Regiments on a total of:
-112 Infanterie Regimenter
-8 Füsilier Regimenter
with this Wappen/Helmet plate

...that were entitled to wear the black Haarbush.

Hi Francis,

It seems that you missed the KIR145 in this listing. Allowed to wear the plume with the same AKO as for the FR86. (18.10.1895) :)

Fantastic gilding and condition! Typical of the KVB collection. Karel, if I ever get to visit your collection and it is a a sunny day, I am going to have to bring sun glasses because of all that gleaming gilt work. :D
