Thies catalogs are very large , thick & heavy
I will have to look over them
I never get his results
I think they are posted online, but I always forget to check them
They are too nice to throw away
but my stack is getting on up there
I may not have the Hindenburg catalog
I think I saw that in the back pages of the V M book on generals
it was his full page add
He sold the Kaiser's medal bar for $100,000
The story of the von Bock 's GFM baton goes way back
before Thies got it

If I remember, von Bock u. Polach’s interim baton was offered at €50,000 opening, I don’t remember how much it sold for, I believe GFM Hindenburg’s dress baton sold for €500,000. That’s my recollection for what it’s worth.
