So this helmet, dated 1915, was produced under the qualities of the M95, nickel silver trimmings, black varnished basane cap, between January and April 15 at the earliest. . The retractable tip on the grey-steel ventilation ‘button’ dates from the AKO of September 1915, so this helmet is an M95 partially modified M15.
This is not a criticism, but an explanation. Fully ‘recycled’ M95 M15 helmets are common. Those that have not been totally ‘transformed’ are rarer. But under the helmet cover, you couldn't see anything.
