Newest Helmet - 16th Century Cabasset

I managed to lay hand on two recently.
The one left (probably the oldest one) is significant heavier than the other one.
I have no scale to weight them....

Here is mine Cabasset, (and one my cats too), north Italian made ca 1580-1590, 1,3 kg

Well, being a cat-guy (I have 4 cats) I must say, what a beautiful cat! I know not much about cabasset helmets though.

LOL - My first thought was cool cat and looks like he (or she) has a bit of attitude and is almost saying "do you like my helmet."

And yes the helmet is really great too!
