Nice looking reproduction on ebay

Hi All, Here is a nice reproduction selling on ebay now, but it is listed as an original,

For those who want a large sized helmet to wear for reenacting, these would do very nicely, and they would save a real one from being abused. My guess is that they were made by the same people, and with a little ageing, they could be hard to tell by a photo from the real thing.

There are a lot of differences that can key us off that this is not real -- -- just from the photos. A subset of red flags on these helmets include:
1. The obvious not correct inside color and liner.
2. The enlarged height of the dome studs on the spike base.
3. The large distance between the spike base and vent device on the rear spine.

We could list a bunch more but these seem pretty simple and can be spotted easily.

Hi Joe
Those features make them great reproductions, but for most people, they would not stand out. If some one wants a spiked helmet to wear on their motorcycle, these would be ideal, and the price is less than a real one for a change.
