Not familiar with this model helmet.

Hi everyone, I hope you can help me with this type of Pickelhaube.
I am new to collecting ww1 items.
I have come across this Pickelhaube and wanting to purchase but not until I can be sure of this variant.
I am confused by the leather stitching that is above the cockades, on all other examples I have looked at I can not see thie leather as it is covered by the cockades.
Any help would be appreciated

It's actually kind of weird that the bow doesn't cover the skin. I'd love to see more photos, especially the interior. This will explain a lot whether this is a conversion from a firefighter. The first impression of this pickelhaube is positive.

Yes, more photos are needed. That stitching above the kokarde is weird but the helmet could have been repaired and returned to service.

Thank you for posting the extra photos but unfortunately they are too small to really see much at least on my two computers.
