Prussian ulan tschapka renovation

After so much effort it must be a great satisfaction to see the result of your finished work.
Congratulations and a healthy envy...😲

Great Progress, the rough draft looks good and I think it will look great upon its being finished.
You certainly have more patience that I to work on something so well. Good luck and I still look foreword to its completion.

I unfolded the sheet metal again and put it back together. Now the shape is the same as the original. The first layer of filler has been applied. Sanding tomorrow. Thank you very much for all your opinions.

Way beyond my skills Wojtek....awsome job! Congratulations. 👍
It's not that you can't do such repairs. You lack self-confidence and a bit of madness that characterizes my people. I've seen your repairs and they are really very good.
"
Leave it to the Poles! (French: Laissez faire aux Polonais!) – words spoken by Napoleon Bonaparte on November 30, 1808 during the Battle of Somosierra.

They were a response to General Montbrun's report, supported by Marshal Berthier, stating that a charge directly against the cannons of the Spanish troops was impossible. When Napoleon heard the report, he replied: Leave it to the Poles! and ordered Adjutant Major de Ségur to carry the order to attack the enemy batteries to the Poles."
