Reddit was rude so I’ll ask you guys, do these black and silver wound badges look genuine?

Hello all, I’ve been trying to collect all three ww1 wound badges, these have been in my collection for awhile but I have had my doubts on their authenticity.

I don’t know much about badges but I know that they were all produced by various companies.

Some were war time and others were post war.

Some are magnetic and other aren’t.

Anything helps, thank you!

The silver one looks o.k. to my eyes.

The black one does not have as good as detail on the leaves of the wreath. Notice the difference between the two badges and the details on the leaves of the wreath. That does not mean that I am saying that the black one is not a good badge. I simply am stating that it does not have as good of detail on the wreath as the silver badge does.

I am no expert on wound badges, but I know several people on the WAF forum who could tell you about the time period for both of these badges.
Several of the members there know how to date these, as to whether they were made in the WW1 time period, the 1920's to 1930's time period, and they also know how to recognize post-WW2 made wound badges.

Best Wishes,

Alan

Hi there,
I'm new here so if I'm violating any rules please forgive. I've had authenticity verified on various German items by the knowledgeable folks over at the World Militaria Forum.
Best,
