Reliable Online Auction Houses

This is amazing! A forger! When Kube sells an indvidual's collection, he usually writes a short blurb on the first pages of the catalog. I cannot remember if he did the same for Kujau. I remember the colour photographs on the back cover. There was notably a Mecklenburg general helmet.
I remember, but I think it was an Oldenburg adjutant.🙄

Exactly Steve! And I can confirm. For me personally, it would be more convenient if he managed his auction 2025-style with livestreamed bidding and electronic payment methods (and significantly more pictures). But our friend Mr. Kube has the coolest address I can think of (imagine your mailing address just being "The Old Castle"...everyone in town knows who that guy is), and a reputation built over decades - the Imperial German collecting world beats a path to his door. He has zero reason to change, and I can completely respect that despite the comparative inconvenience.

Someday I'll have to make the pilgrimage to bid in person! 😺

I agree 100 % Plus we know the Schloss is for sale . I think Kube might still do his auctions
for 3 or 5 more years? Then he will retire .I don't know if the business would be sold?
Kube has a daughter. I forgot to say that I met Kube in person one time. he came to the USA
one time to one of shows . He was telling me about a stickpin he was wearing on his
sport coat .He said that each time he gets a different stickpin, he buys a new sport coat
for the new stickpin.

My bad. Thank you for correcting me. Last time I saw those pictures was many years ago.

Easy to do with so much over the years
You might have had on your mind the Mecklenburg General from the Laine collection.

For my Dad's 70th birthday we went to Germany and hit up some of his favorite towns and breweries. We also managed to slip in a couple of auctions including Hermanns and Kube. I have been going to Kube auctions for 25 + years now, and my nieces and nephew are in the photo with Jan, which means he has met 4 generations of my family now. That's my wife next to my Dad. My sister-in-law took the picture. Meanwhile, my Mom and sister were drinking some wine in the hotel across the street.

Very nice! This brings back memories. We visited him and the museum for old toys which is located in the castle last year. It was a lot of fun. The kids were impressed by the old uniforms for children.

Best wishes,
