Reuss Reserve Officers Pickelhaube

This week I was able to receive this one, here are some pictures of apparently a very rare pickelhaube, have fun watching friends

The sticker inside the shell adds a lot, for an officer helmet.

Ja, en dan zeggen dat ik nog twijfelde over het kopen van deze, dus zie je, ik heb geluk, maar ik blijf zoeken naar pickelhaube, dus ik heb mezelf blijkbaar verwend toen ik hier lees wat nem ervan vindt, heel erg bedankt

It's very frustrating to have the owners tag damaged to the extent that the name isn't visible. So near and yet so far.

During the inspection I also found this

Very interesting!
I already saw this name tag pattern for officers, showing the head of the god Mercury with his winged headdress:



I think I see on your name tag: Leutnant August L???????????

As he was a Leutnant der Reserve, we can unfortunately not find him in the Ehrenrangliste 1914-18 that only mentions the active officers...
He could have been in the II/JR96, in the I/RJR32, in the III/LJR71 or even another unknown unit, because officers were often transferred to other units depending on the needs of the moment...
