Thanks Eric, it was fun working on your helmet. I am really pleased that the holes/marks for the wappen all matched up perfectly after the new loop was put on.
 
Thanks. It really is one of a kind, I have never seen another one like it. I certainly would have bought it if it had come my way.
 
While collecting is fun, I think salvaging historical artifacts is even more satisfying.

Brian salvaged a helm which was falling to pieces but sacrificed NONE of its history - or honesty.

Really a job well done!
 
Many thanks for the compliments, working on these pieces is a challenge but also a privilege. They are survivors in the passage of time especially this one!
