Seebatallion Shako Plate

I recently acquired a collection of Imperial Navy cap insignia, shoulder boards and tallies that included this shako plate. It has an old style screw and nut that are of the same type found on an early Seebatallion shako posted elsewhere on this site. One of the screws is missing and the other is slightly separated but present.

Any thoughts about its originality? I'm including e photo from the shako mentioned for comparison.

It looks original to me and yes an older version with those posts and nuts.
