Seebatallion Shako Plate

I recently acquired a collection of Imperial Navy cap insignia, shoulder boards and tallies that included this shako plate. It has an old style screw and nut that are of a similar type found on an early Seebatallion shako posted elsewhere on this site. One of the screws is missing and the other is slightly separated but present.

Any thoughts about its originality? I'm including e photo from the shako mentioned for comparison.

It looks good to me and yes that”fixation” system for the wappen is only found on the older helmets in my experience.
