Bavarian M15 Pickelhaube – Offered here is a very decent example of a Gray Trim Bavarian Pickelhaube. There are no markings. Wonderful chinstrap, cocards (silver & blue!) and black liner. Front and rear visors tight. No repairs. Two small holes on-line with rear spine. Black finish on helmet body shows fine spidering. Front visor and rear visor very nice but both exhibit paint wrinkles. SOLD + postage.

I have the same idea, it looks like a Jäger zu Pferde M15 tip; what is its height in cm please?

Someone asked about spike height. Bavarian is 8.4 cm from base to spike tip. The Baden, for comparison is 8.0 cm from base to spike tip.

Thanks Jeff, so it's an effect of the photo. It's a standard infantry spearhead.

I think the helmets size makes the Spike look larger than it is.

I've had this happen with small size helmets before with the way the Wappen fits.
