IF you don't mind saying where or who you got your I R 93 from, I might can tell you more. When Walt passed away, his helmet collection
was willed to his son. Over the years the son would consign (or sell ) several helmets at a time to Stephen Wolfe of Wolfe-Hardin dealers.
This happened about the time of our S O S. Wolfe would bring the helmets to the S O S for sale. Age of Kings seemed to always
get first look at the helmets . I know that James LaB or his brother bought a Bavarian Uhlan officers helmet that was from the Hartmann
collection . Some rare helmets were kept by Wolfe for his own collection. As you know Wolfe - Hardin no longer do shows . I can't speak to the older Max shows , as I never went to them. At the S O S Weitze always checked to see what Wolfe had . I know Weitze bought some of
Hartmann's uniforms from Wolfe for resale. The release of Hartmann's helmets seemed to dry up after Wolfe-Hardin departed the shows.
What the son still has and where they might go, I no longer know.
