Hello collectors!

Today i was lucky and able to get some nice straps and boards different types all from Ulanen Regiments. One of them i already showed in my other thread because it is one of my missing boards of the 14th Army.

Sadly the others dont fit into my collection but they are worth to show anyway.

Best wishes! Andi

Here we have a rare M15 Strap for an Ulan serving with the württembergischen Ulanen Regiment Nr. 20

Ulanen Regiment Nr. 13 "Königs-Ulanen" from Hannover.
That one is a real massive board and seems to be old, long time before the war.

Nice example
Thanks for the post and the photo
To me your example looks like a private purchase
It is of higher quality
my example is not as well done
I think that my example is an issued strap.

and the last one!

Strap for Hannover Königs Ulanen Regiment Nr. 13. That one is for the coat / Mantel.
My guess is that is from an old blanket display
I have some other regiments like that
Mine came from ulan9 on EBay
did you get this one from him also ?

Yes , the much larger , older strap for U R 13
I have a pair of Col . General in the honorary rank of GFM
worn by Graf Waldersee from U R 13
He was also an Adjutant to Kaiser Wilhelm II
they are in the early massive style like your strap

Thank you so much for showing me your pieces! Very nice!
Yes, compared to each other yours is looking like an issued strap and my like a private purchased one. Or maybe yours was made later in the war than mine?!

I purchased these boards all from a women who was selling the collection of her father (mostly ww2). But i know what you are talking about. That ebay seller was and is selling a big old collection. He is from the east of germany and a few times i met him personally on some markets. He has a lot of stuff that you normaly not going to see. How ever he is a smart guy and know what he has so no chance to get something cheap from him. First time i realized him is maybe 8 years ago and he is still selling from that old collection it seems. I am sure the father of this lady who was selling them bought them from him.

That massive major board had a small white paper with a ballpoint pen writing at the backside, too. I remember to saw also those tags a few time in ebay auctions over the years.

If one of them is interesting for you, we can talk about a trade or something via PM. Feel free to contact me!

Best wishes Andi
