SOS 2026 Weather Outlook

I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures and especially the pickelhaubes that can be found there, stay safe I'd say,

My oldest friend told me last night that he saw Louisville is supposed to get up to 16" of snow this Saturday, the 24th.

The friends we stay with in northern Indianapolis on Tuesday night have said they are expecting 6" of snow.

The storm is expected to pass Louisville by late Sunday, but temps will remain below freezing for at least the next seven days. The main routes should be clear by showtime I believe. Looking forward to seeing you and your sale items James. Going to miss Brian. Also looking forward to seeing those of you I know and hopefully meeting forum members.

Ron

hello, even here in Belgium they are talking about your weather, just now 160 million people are affected, the largest and heaviest winter storm in a long time from Texas to New York so now I don't know what it will be like in July up to -45 celsius good luck everyone

My oldest friend just called me a moment ago. He gave me the updated weather and snow forecast for Louisville:

Up to 20" of snowfall is now predicted for Saturday and Sunday. Oh my gosh! That will be a mess!

I think there was a little snow on the ground last year, and it seemed like the locals didn't see that phenomenon very often. It remained unshoveled in most of the neighborhood I stayed in. Hopefully they have a municipal game plan in place this year! Sounds like a legit northern-style winter storm. ❄️

I'm still on the fence about doing the 10+ hour drive this year (in these conditions), and will likely wait til the last minute to see what's what. Safe travels to everyone making the journey!

It'll all be OK! Positive thinking!

Wish I could go. Next year for sure (I'll be retired ! LoL)

The incoming snowstorm in the US is talked about in the news in Germany - about -40 degrees Celsius are expected…I wish all of you SOS-visitors a safe trip and working heaters!

Cheers Peter

Roads have cleared up here in Indianapolis with the help of the snow plows and a little sunlight. We are traveling down tomorrow at 1pm to go stand in line for our table packets, should be there around 3pm.

Thanks for the update James. My wife and I leave in the morning for a 3 hour drive from west of Louisville. An easy trip compared to most of you. Looking forward to seeing you and other members at the show! Leave some haubes for me. Safe travels and happy hunting!

Ron
