Howdy all! Hope everyone is well!
Wanted to share some photos I took over the last week or so, we had nice weather the last two weeks up in the PNW so I took advantage and took some new photos of some of my helms.
I shared these photos on my evening photos thread but felt they deserved their own thread.
Here ya go!
Bavarian M96 Pioneer and EM,
Model 1897s Baden and Prussia with cases and Überzug,
Model 1915s Tschako, Cuirassier, Kugelhelm and EM,
Ersatz Pickelhauben, Vulcan fiber and metal,
1914 Ersatz Tschapka (since this photo I’ve exchanged the cockade for an original)
I love seeing natural sunlight on these helms as I think their beauty is best highlighted by rays of sunshine glinting off their fixtures, however I am aware that sunlight can damage these items and I do keep them away from direct sunlight as much as possible.
