All it needs is to drill a hole in the top ov a nice cammo Stahlhelm for a lamp shade
 
After reading the discription, I realize it is not an original that has had a hole drilled in it, it is a pretty good looking model of an M15, but if it does not come with a bulb, then I do not think it would provide much light:)

So some 'creative' individual is trying to make a replica of a veteran's 'trench art' lamp... hmmm... well, I really don't know what to say. At least the seller is honest and states that it's a new helmet.

Every one here needs to go to the same heading in the new acqusitions forum and give Mike a hard time for his latest purchase, I think he got a bulb with his:)
 
I thought someone had drilled through a real 15 till I actually read ( I do now and then ) it's all fiberglass and resin. I wonder what country this is from? I must admit that I bid 6 bucks for this but the reserve was not met, Ill have to wait and see if santa abandons one here for me.

It looks like it may have part of a KD89 guard on it, too.

This is another of Pointystuff's creations, I should have knownit was one of his, as it would pass for the real thing in a photo, he has donated this to an 8 year old girl who has cancer as a fundraiser, If you do not want a lamp, I would recogment you go to this seller's page and send a dollar or more via paypal, as it is a good cause.
