John, thank you. The Atilla is named but not the Pelzmütze. Not a grouping. Yep, the JB12 Krätzchen is from Karel's collection too.

Amy that is an exceptional example of a private purchase Tschapka. To parade no less. Those eagle Wappen with the protruding Garde star overlay are wonderful. You couldn’t find a better example of a Garde Ulanen private purchase Tschapka. Very pleased that you have obtained that. After the fibreboard ersatz,I am working on this beautiful OYV tschapka. Tony, thank you. It is very satisfying to know Karel thought highly of these HR20 pieces. As a collector of Jäger and Saxon first priority was the Krätzchen. I am more than pleased to have won all three.“Nice additions” is like calling the Titanic a boat…. Holy nutcracker Mike did you ever obtain some wonderful pieces. Those two Lots in particular were key items of Karel’s auction. Karel mentioned several times in conversations that the Saxon officer’s Husaren Regt. Nr. 20 Pelzmütze and Feldgrau M1910 Attila were one of his favourite groupings and I am absolutely delighted that you got that through. As for the Mütze, you simply couldn’t get a better example of a Saxon Jäger M1907 Krätzchen. The issue stamps are exquisite. It doesn’t get better.
John, it is extremely rare to find an actual grouping of tunic and headgear to one man. At my highwater mark I had 60+ mannequins and not one ‘grouping’ came from the same person. All of us make ‘groupings’ by obtaining uniforms and headgear that are correct in that they match. You can pretty well assume every time that they’re not to the same soldier. Having said that, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if Karel had found that HR20 as an actual grouping.
I not sure, that it was a HR 20 grouping. I remember this busby being offered by H. Weitze 15 years ago.John, it is extremely rare to find an actual grouping of tunic and headgear to one man.
