On Facebook, Johan Somers recommended an amazing instructional video about German WW1 Telegraph and Fernsprecher equipment. He states that it is one of the best video's that he has ever seen on this topic.

The video and subtitles are in German, but in the settings one can change it to English for the AudioTrack, and for the Subtitles/CC also. This change area is located on the lower right area of the YouTube screen, by clicking on the Gear Wheel Icon and selecting "English" on both the Audio Track and the Subtitles/CC selection areas for those that do not know how to do this. It can be changed to other languages as well.

In this video, Ralf, Bernd, and Philipp talk about the uniforms and equipment of the telegraph and telephone troops during World War I.

Best Wishes,

Alan

Hi Alan,

Thanks for sharing. (y)(y)

Very interesting to watch, I picked up a complete trench phone system down to the battery pack with original batteries still in it some time back it needs a good cleaning but will be cool to display. Looking forward to that but running out of room.
