Please keep me in mind if you see or are selling high-quality, pre-war (or top-notch Feldgrau) Imperial German cloth cavalry headgear . I am happy to look at anything, especially of exceptional quality, but some current key include:
Top Wants:
- Husaren-Regiment von Schill (1.Schlesisches) Nr.4 - Seriously. (While I won't say "money is no object"...I'd move heaven and earth for this holy grail).
- 1. Brandenburgisches Dragoner-Regiment Nr.2 - Looking for tellermütze/kratzchen in particular, but also interested in anything from this regiment (uniforms, swords, reservist souvenirs, etc.).
- "Tradition" badged Husaren regiments -1LHR1, 2LHR2, HR17: Looking for tellermütze/kratzchen in particular, but interested all cloth headgear from these regiments.
Hussars: HR5, HR6, HR15, HR16
Dragoons: DR3/7/15, DR11/12, DR21, DR23/24
Chevauleger: ChvR 7/8
Kurassier: GKR, KKR1, KR2
And IR92 in the "non-cavalry" category.
