I have been looking at a lot of stahlhelms and armor lately and this fake piece in particular caught my eye. The dumbest thing about it that makes it a fake is the engineering behind it. There are NO eye holes in this piece. Why would a soldier run around a battle field not being able to see...

I saw this too on another site. Someone did not replace the rear visor, but instead painted/colored it black and added a spine. The 119 on the back is odd, but interesting. This could have been some sort of regiment marking added after. Maybe the 1530 plate is supposed to be a scroll wappen...
