My new item. I am looking for information on whether anyone on this forum has a pickelhaube from this regiment?
I took the photos in the sun and my camera turns gold into silver. This photo is in the shadow.I need to replace my camera. This line infantry helmet should have brass (gilded) fittings. I think it's an effect of the photo; they look like nickel silver (silver).

Steve, thank you very much, I look forward to seeing the photos.I have an 1891 pattern enlisted ranks helmet to the 10th Company 2nd Battalion.
I'm in Portugal at the moment so I don't have access to it. But I am home in a couple of weeks.
Thank you John for your kind words.Wojtek
As always, you have provided us with an example of a fantastic Pickelhaube. Congratulations!
Best regards
John

Thank you very much for the information!Hi,
Yes, I own a M95 initially marked R62 (and not 82!), BA VI 1908, which is correct for this unit, then transfered shortly before the war to the 22. R.J.R..III.B.
Named to a wearer (Valentin Nowok from Radoschau / Radoszowy / Kattowitz), 12/RJR22) who was KIA May 1915 on the Loretto-Höhe. First reported missing in 1915, officially declared killed in action in a 1917 publication listing German casualties.
A salty and absolutely untouched french trophy of war.
The RJR22 was formed in Ratibor (Stab and IIB), in Rybnik (IB) and Kosel (III B). Note that the JR62 had its prewar garrison in Kosel (Kozle) and Ratibor (Raciborz).
