Lucky you! These are very hard to find. I have had an M15 officer''s spike sitting in the parts drawer for years but I've never encountered a helmet.

Wow, an excellent example. I tend to agree, I've liked the enlisted models the best, but these are so different and representative. So much work went into developing this model just to be obsolete the flowing year...

Extremely nice, Philippe! Dark brown or green silk lining?
I also like those transition models very much. The M15 officer Tschapka is another most desirable one.

Here is another one of the same kind. Nice matt patina, and gilding almost intact on chinscales, visor rim, spike, and everywhere else. This one was certainly not polished often...

Holy cow Bruno - that's an exceptional helmet in every way! Just beautiful.

And I think you maybe buried the lede by labeling this gorgeous FR34 "another one."

Bruno, I do not know what to say...Certainly one of the rarest M15 officer helmet ever!
