Hi: I have been asked by the member selling the Weimar shako to contact you. As a new member he can't PM you because he has not made enough posts on the forum. If you are still interested, here is his email address: [email protected] so that you can contact him. Regards, Brian Loree (Admin)
Hi and thank you for your reply.Did u happen to know the name of the officer that owned this uniform?

No, unfortunately I don’t know. The auction was around 2007. The helmet (tschapka) was sold separately at that time. Very nice uniform! I liked it a lot, but I had to let it go since I needed the money. I’m more collector of helmets.

Best wishes
Hello,

Did you know that you can post up to 10 photos in 1-posting here, instead of posting only 1-photo per post?

Best Wishes,

Alan thanks. Its such a pain doing individually! I assume the sizes remain the same? I will try.

Hi Sandy, I hope this finds you well and in good health. I clicked on the Real/Fake Kokade link you provided and have an English correction for you:
Classification of cockade reproductions....In the first sentence the word "lovelessly" is used. The word should be "carelessly". This means that no care was taken to get the proper details correct. All the best, Brian
I have a Prussian M15 that I will sell which is in much better condition than this piece on Ebay. Let me know if you are interested. Regards, Brian
HI Alan what is the distance between the fixing loops please. for the 1915 Bavarian wappen please.

Hi Doug: You have to make 25 posts before the PM feature is available to you. This measure was introduced in order to combat spammers blitzing the forum. Regards, Brian
I am looking at body's with liners parts missing or no parts at all not bothered to much about condition . As was said Ebay prices are silly money.

Can you please let me know what you have to sale and price please.

Hello.

Thanks for your post, where are you located? I would be interested in your Baden Schutzmannschaft helmet. Does it have any damage other than missing the leather chinstrap? Is it property marked on the interior or is there any damage to the liner?

I don"t have any military helmets to trade but I could be a cash buyer.

I was wondering if you would sell the 1834 patern dragoon of the 6 th Inniskilling with overlaping lion figure and at what price.
If so can you also tell me where you are located please?

Hi Kris.
The value of the 6th Inniskilling dragoons 1834-37 is at least 4.500-5000 GBP, maybe more. I also own a similiar 7th The Princess Dragoon Guard 1834-37 with exchangeable Lions crest and Bear Plume. It looks most impressive with the Bear plume on.

Take your time Kris. I have put the trades on hold for a while until I get a better overview of the collection and a better system to find the objects in demand. I will not do any sales until end of April.

Hello Maverick,

I'm sorry for you about the leukemia, that's frustrating. Hopefully you'll recover back to normal.

I'm curious if you have prices for the Wurttemburg helmet with the red plume on your top shelf. And the Bavarian felt helmet also. The Prussian M15 looks to be in mint condition from what I see of the outside of it in your photo.

Wishing you all the best.

Alan Schaefer

Thanks Justin.

I'm a goalie and had my helmet custom made so I specified the paint job which as you see, is the Prussian eagle with the Gardes Star and the motto Suum Cique". I've had other people who don't play ask me what the avatar is.

Nice to see someone who recognizes it. I assume you play as well?

I played in an adult 40+ league. I am unfortunately going to have to cut back though. My legs are just not as good as they once were. Standing on blades for such a long time, my feet are getting numb and it is taking much longer to recover. The Rolling Stones said it best: "What a drag it is getting old".
Cheers and happy holidays.
