Hi Stuka F, Thanks for your interest. I think the grey-trimmed pickelhaube is sold. I'll let you know if the deal falls through. The cost of mailing the ersatz pickelhaube to France using US Postal Service Priority Mail would be $63.20. If there are transaction fees or if insurance is desired, then that would be extra.

Greetings! So sorry to hear of the circumstances calling for your having to sell some of your collection but as other members have advised, the forum is a great place to sell items to fellow collectors.

If you have spares for sale, especially a Wurttemberg fireman wappen, Bavarian base and spike in silver, or other parts or prject helmets I'd be very interested.

I have a Guard Pioneer Officer helmet with Deaths Head device. I got this from the estate of an old collector who passed away many years ago. Although I feel most of the helmets of this type are not genuine, I feel mine is. It has been examined by a number of fellow collectors who all feel it is genuine. Are you still looking for a pair of Officer Kokardes for an officer pickelhaube?

If so, I have a set that I salvaged off a helmet for the parts. The helmet shell was pretty much destroyed.

My set is Prussian officer + National colors officer.
